You said it, Kelson.  Spot on.  The long-term maturation of Wally West depicted in &lt;i&gt;The Flash&lt;/i&gt; was of a kind I&#039;d never seen in comics before.  It showed true reverence for and dedication to the character and his mythology.  

Is it any wonder we&#039;re all so worried that he&#039;s simply going to be tossed aside once Barry Allen returns?
