Flash: Rebirth #6 Preview!

Category: Flash News — By Kelson @ 8:45 am

DC has posted a four-page preview of next week’s Flash: Rebirth #6.

Can you believe we’re only a few days away from the conclusion?

Update: As Esteban points out in the comments, there’s a third credit on this cover: Scott Hanna. @SpeedsterSite quotes Ethan Van Sciver confirming (on Facebook), “Those are inked by the great Scott Hanna, who was kind enough to do 5 or 6 pages for me.”

  1. Did you notice on the cover the name “Hanna”?.

I’m guessing that this issue has Scott Hanna as the inker. I’m not exactly sure but I believe that the rest of the series only had EVS as the artist.

It’s interesting that Barry still isn’t in the front seat with the powers. It sets up an interesting role for Wally to mentor Barry on the aspects of the speedforce. Here it is seen with time travel.
It’s also a great “Rip Hunter” moment with the rules of time.

  3. Aleclom says:

Love it. Wally kicks ass, and I’ve still got hope that he won’t be completely swept aside when the new series starts.

  4. Wayne Lippa says:

Can’t wait! I’m gonna have to go back and re-read issues 1-5 before Wednesday.

The art so far looks like its going to be the best of the entire series. I’m glad that even though the cover looks like crap, the pages will look amazing.

And as interested as I am in Barry, I’m glad that Wally is still having a huge impact.

  6. Eric says:

Thankfully they did not make Wally a backseat character. Wally supporting Barry when he “hit the wall” showed respect to person who has been the Flash for all these years. We will have to see how the series treats Wally
