TWO Flash References on TV This Week!

Category: Flash News — By Kelson @ 12:30 pm

Absolute Justice, the Geoff Johns-penned two-hour Smallville episode featuring the Justice Society of America, airs this Friday at 8:00 PM on the CW. The Flash doesn’t appear himself, but we’ve seen screencaps with Jay Garrick’s helmet and a painting featuring the classic JSA.

But Smallville isn’t the only show that references the Flash this week. Canadian viewers have already seen this week’s episode of Human Target, “Sanctuary.” @hastily spotted a character trying to explain what the Anti-Monitor did to Barry Allen in Crisis on Infinite Earths. The episode airs in the US on Wednesday at 8:00 PM on Fox.

Make that three! In Monday’s episode of Heroes Sylar threw a 9th Wonder comic book at Peter and said – here, I couldn’t find Doc Savage or The Flash.

  2. papa zero says:

Peter’s current power is the ability to replicate the abilities of other character upon physical contact. He recently relpicated the superspeed powers of a character played by Ray Park (Darth Maul) though he no longer retains that power. Peter is an EMT and is compelled to use his medical expertise and powers to come to the aid of anyone and everyone…

Perhaps that was what the quote refered to?

My wife and I just finished the second season of the Big Bang Theory on dvd – I think I’ve mentioned it before, but I want to stress that Flash fans should be watching this. I believe there is a Flash reference in nearly every episode. One spotlighted Rebirth#1 when they visited a comic store. Another had Sheldon drink too much caffeine and think he was the Flash. (Saying “Zoom!” reminds me of Wally’s Porcupine Man story!)

I love TBBT ^^ My girlfriend and I watch it all the time and we were laughing our asses off at Sheldon’s antics (or lack thereof). Poor girl. She was practically throwing herself at him lol. Oh Sheldon, Sheldon.
