DC has released Francis Portela’s variant cover for Flash #12, which they remind us is the final issue of the (current) series before it jumps into Flashpoint.
Flash #10 comes out tomorrow, with #11 scheduled for April 27 and #12 due May 11…the same day that Flashpoint launches.
That chalk outline looks like the victim was running when they were shot. Just sayin’.

I thought George Perez was supposed to be doing the variant cover for issue 12?
The variants (and the main covers, for that matter) for the last few issues have changed a lot since solicitations. #10 was announced as Scott Kolins & is going to be Yildiray Cinar. I forget who was originally doing #11, which is now Scott Kolins.
So Perez’s variant cover has probably been moved back to issue #13 then, is that what you’re saying?
Okay, if there was a word balloon next to Flash I would swear this could have been a 70′s cover. I dig this one tremendously.
Looks a bit fanart-like, to be honest — nice, but slightly amateurish. Still good, but not what I’d expect from a professional cover.
