Flash TV News

Lots of television news today, with plenty of spoilers behind the jump.

First off, a new trailer called “Speeding Bullet” for the next few episodes of the series. I can see characters from at least three different upcoming episodes (including our best looks at Heat Wave and Pied Piper so far), so this is something of a general series teaser.

You can also see screenshots from the trailer at Flashfans.org.

Spartacus actor Liam McIntyre has been cast as Mark Mardon, the better-known Weather Wizard, and he’ll appear in episodes 15 and 16. It’s also been all but confirmed that Chad Rook will be back for two episodes as his brother Clyde, although it’s not known how Clyde will return. It may be via flashbacks, or maybe he wasn’t as dead as we’d thought.

Flashfans.org posted some titles and air dates for the next few episodes. A few of these details were already known, but some are new.

1×10 “Revenge of The Rogues” [air date Jan 20th]

1×11 “The Sound and The Fury [air date Jan 27th]

1×12 “Crazy For You” [air date Feb 3rd]

1×13 “The Nuclear Man” [air date Feb 10th]

And TVLine has some spoilery hints from the next seven upcoming episodes, some of which are very interesting.

Judging by the title of Episode 10, “Revenge of the Rogues,” Barry won’t get a breather after his battle with Reverse-Flash. Wentworth Miller warns that as Captain Cold teams with Heat Wave (Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell) to stop the speedster, the foes “aren’t friends, but they do have a kind of intimacy.” Cisco – who’s getting a brother! – will face Cold’s fury when the villain’s sis, Lisa Snart (Tomorrow People’s Peyton List), uses her wiles on S.T.A.R. Labs’ geek boy. Meanwhile, Caitlin – reeling from her “dead” fiance’s reappearance – may be led down a questionable path. “There are some moments – maybe she goes back to a bar? maybe she makes some bad decisions? – that are really fun,” Danielle Panabaker teases. Also on tap: Star Wars’ Mark Hamill reprises his ’90s Flash role as The Trickster; Grant Gustin sings (courtesy of the Pied Piper?) and (accidental) time travel makes its debut.

So who’s looking forward to the mid-season debut on January 20th?

About Lia

Lia is a Canadian fan of the Flashes and the Rogues. She's particularly interested in memorabilia of the Rogues and Reverse Flashes, collecting art, and memorizing a whole lot of pointless trivia. She may be the world's only diehard fan of the Top due to a love of hopeless causes, and she runs a fan blog on Tumblr, known as gorogues or The Rogues Kick Ass.

If the word on the street is to be believed, you’re right. It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but supposedly that is Peek-A-Boo.

Peek-A-Boo imho has the worst name of any of the Flash villains. Yes, I include Rainbow Raider in that.
Will make sure to tune in for the Pied Piper episode. I’m hoping he’s going to have a redeemable aspect to him. Always liked Piper of all the Rogues.
Working on seeing Gustin as Barry. Not getting anywhere, but working on it. Fine until he removes the mask and then….darn the brown hair. Can’t help it…I think Barry, I think blond. Keep seeing Bart Allen even if he does act like nerdy (and I mean that in a good way) Barry Allen.

Now, you see…I always thought Peek-A-Boo was the best of the Johns-Rogues. She had some interesting powers and didn’t have to peel her skin off or sexually assault her co-workers or be a serial killer with her mouth sewn shut in order to be interesting.
I’d love to see Peek-A-Boo in the show.
