Today, Netflix announced that they are separating the DVD and streaming businesses, and will be renaming the DVD-by-mail service as Qwikster, “because it refers to quick delivery.”
Qwikster…why does that sound familiar?
Ah, right…The Quickster, speedster alter-ego of Spongebob Squarepants and parody of the DC Comics’ Flash and Marvel Comics’ Quicksilver.
He looks a bit more like a VHS tape than a DVD or Blu-Ray disc, don’t you think?

Hey, heads up that Amazon is listing Flash Omnibus 2 by Geoff Johns for an April 3rd release. I’m surprised they are waiting so long between releases on these. Looks to be Crosswinds and Blitz. I’m guessing the single issue freebie (if they include one will be of Hunter Zolomon arriving in Central City.
My son still watches Spongebob. So unfortunately, I’ve seen quite a number of episodes but apparently I missed this one.
Well, for a change, they’re ripping off another DC hero other than Aquaman. 😉
