An all-new Flash epic begins here, and the stakes have never been higher as Barry races toward a confrontation with the Reverse Flash!

DC has released their Justice League group solicitations through Comic Book Resources, among them the Flash #20 solicit. This issue features the return of the regular creative team of Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato, and the full introduction of the new Reverse Flash — not Eobard Thawne, and not Hunter Zolomon — who will debut briefly in #17 before becoming the focus of this new story. We’ve previously discussed possible candidates, including Wally West.

I like the action of this cover. (Eh… Not that Barry’s getting beaten up, mind, but the colors and the ‘ghost’ afterimages of the strikes.) Considering it has very few colors, a very striking piece.

I think Wally would be intersting but Dr. Elias makes alot of sense. He did the weapon thing with the rogues and said the speed force needed to be destroyed. Feels like a villan..nice intro and slow unvieling of the evil side. I am stoked about Reserve Flash however he comes. One of my favorite villians, and hope he will challenge Flash (the new series I like but Flash power wise has been kinda soft). Way future prediction…Flash seuel big screen movie has Reserve Flash (a apperance at the end of the first one)…MAKE A FLASH MOVIE WARNER BROS!

Love the blood spittle as Barry is pummeled here. Great cover.

Yeah, Elias makes sense as well. He has experience with the machine that empowered the Rogues plus, we’ve seen that he’s been able to store Speed Force energy in his lab.

Either way, really excited for this upcoming arc. Should be fun.
