“Run Devil Run” Teaser

The CW has released a new teaser for early Season Three of The Flash, called “Run Devil Run”. Looks like it contains scenes from the first episode, and possibly the second.

And here’s the official synopsis for the second episode of the season, titled “Paradox”. It will air on October 11th.

“Paradox”— (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

THE AFTERMATH — Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes the effects from Flashpoint are much greater than he thought. Meanwhile, Barry meets new co-worker Julian Albert (Tom Felton) and is surprised by Julian’s immediate disdain for Barry. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#302). Original airdate 10/11/2016.

Of note is that Barry’s new co-worker is now called ‘Julian Albert’, whereas he was known as ‘Julian Dorn’ in earlier information. Unless it’s a red herring, this lends credence to the theory that he’ll be Dr Alchemy (Albert Desmond).

I like all what I see and read. All except for the rumors about killing off Barry to make room for The Flash movie. Apparently, two Barry Allen’s in motion picture is too much for WB. And that is the reason for Suicide Squad getting the chop from Arrow. If Barry/GG is eliminated from CW Flash, WB/CW are going to miss a lot of fans, including me. Grant Gustin stays or I go!

I don’t think they’ll get rid of Barry. I do think it’s genius to make Wally a Flash during a re-write of continuity, though. It allows him to reclaim a lot of the history they already ascribed to Barry, such as his relationship to Linda, connection to the Speed Force, backstory with villains such as Piper and Zoloman…it’s a great opportunity to fix things.
