    Bart!

Maybe. I wonder if he’ll be future Bar Torr, future classic Bart, or some sort of mix of the two.

The Justice League arc actually sounds interesting. And the description for the Flash War prologue sounds a lot less inflammatory than the NYCC announcement.

The Titans/Legion thing in the Geoff Johns collection threw me for a loop. First it seemed weird that they would include part 1 of a 4-part story…then I remembered that the Titans/Legion mini I knew of wasn’t a Geoff Johns story to begin with, so I checked to see if there was another one. Apparently there was a one-shot in 2004 that I completely forgot about!

I sincerely hope Bart gets restored and all of that other stuff gets wiped aaway, because it seems like Bar-Torr was almost universally reviled (and IMO deservedly so). Fingers crossed, at least.

And yeah, I’ll be interested to see what Priest comes up with for Justice League, because I like most of his work.

I get the feeling DC backtracked on the inflammatory Flash War stuff really quickly when the reaction was generally negative. I’m sure the story’s the same and it may never have been meant to create strife, but maybe they realized it wasn’t so great to antagonize the fandom.

I didn’t notice that at first, but I found myself wondering how they were counting issues. Just looking at the numbered issues from #1 and up (no zeroes, 1 millions, etc) and no annuals:

350 issues of Flash Comics (Jay) & The Flash (Barry)
      247 issues of Flash (Wally)
      13 of Flash (Bart)
12 of Flash (Barry) between Rebirth & Flashpoint
52 of Flash (Barry, New 52)
39 of Flash (Barry, DC Rebirth)

      That’s 713.

So they’re ignoring Bart’s time as the Flash, as usual.

Huh, interesting, and thanks for doing the math. Part of me is glad they’re ignoring that book because it was so terrible, but the other part is annoyed that they’re pretending it didn’t happen. Maybe it’s not counted because ‘The Fastest Man Alive’ tagline altered the title a bit? They aren’t counting books like All-Flash either. Still a weaselly way to get around things, though.
