CW Crossover Synopsis

The CW has released the official synopsis for the upcoming four-way crossover, which will air on November 27th and 28th. There will be four episodes, although they’ve only released one description for all four.

THE EPIC FOUR-WAY CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW,” “SUPERGIRL,” “THE FLASH” AND “DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW” BEGINS — Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.

Comicbook.com states that the Arrow episode is Part Two, and will air at 9 PM on Monday, November 27th to accomodate this (the show usually airs on Thursdays, so it’s worth remembering). Part One is on Supergirl at 8 PM on November 27th, and the remaining two parts will be shown with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow on November 28th.

I really hope that the actual wedding part of this happens on the Flash episode of the crossover because I think it would be a dishonour to the franchise to put it on one of the other shows. I assume the wedding will start in part one but get interrupted by the Earth X guys, but then the wedding will happen again in another episode with the couple saying their I do’s.

Hope so. It’s also possible the wedding will be postponed/cancelled until later on this season or another one, although I hope they don’t draw it out too long. But I agree, it should be in the Flash series.

Yeah, I noticed that. The showrunners did say we’ll be seeing a very different Cold this season, and it’ll obviously be him. However, Wentworth Miller has said this is the last work he’ll be doing in the Flashverse, which is a shame. I think you really can’t have the Flash without Captain Cold, so who knows what’s going to happen.
