Waid would continue to work on Wally West for nearly a decade, building a world that would keep the character running for years. In this first volume of a new series, Young Wally West is quickly in danger—not only from The Flash’s enemies, but from powers that he doesn’t know how to control! Collects THE FLASH SPECIAL #1, THE FLASH #62-68 and THE FLASH ANNUAL #4-5.

If they kill Wally again, my return to DC comics will be a short one.
I’m a bit leery of the Shade being in the Flash. I loved what James Robinson did with the character throughout the Starman series, and I’m really not sure how well he will be portrayed in the upcoming Flash arc. I kind of wish they would leave him alone. I’ve been enjoying Williamson’s run so far so I guess I’ll wait and see.
I love that Brett Booth got the Kilg%re on that Titans cover. He’s my favorite Flash villain.
Also, Amazon.ca has a listing for The Flash vol. 2 by Mark Waid which collects THE FLASH #71-82, THE FLASH ANNAUL #6 and JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL QUARTERLY #10 (the “Half an Inch” short story). So it looks like the second volume will include The Return of Barry Allen Saga and Back on Track, however it looks like they’re skipping the Flash/Green Lantern crossover issues (#69-70 of The Flash, plus 2 issues of the GL title at the time). It will be released in May of next year.
I just noticed tonight that the amazon listings have been changed to include the Green Lantern crossover.
