Newsarama has the trailer for DC’s upcoming direct-to-DVD/Blu-Ray animated film, Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths, and IESB has details on the release.
Comics Continuum reports that Josh Keaton will voice the Flash in the cartoon, and adds that Keaton is the voice of Peter Parker on The Spectacular Spider-Man.
The movie is currently scheduled to arrive in stores on February 23, 2010.
Looks excellent, except when they were listing the superheroes we’ll see they stopped at Green Lantern and didn’t mention the Flash. That’s ok. He’ll eventually get top billing when a Flash animated film comes out from this line of films… Assuming one does, which is hopefully not just wishful thinking. :]
I think Josh Keaton is a good choice. He’s got experience and was quite good as Spider-Man.
What story line would you like to see get the animated treatment?
The Flash of Two Worlds. That was the story that introduced the multi-verse into comics history, indirectly leading to the various Crisis events (which this latest film is inspired by), plus it would introduce both the seminal silver age and golden age incarnations of the Flash. And actually, this story was rumoured to be one of the stories Bruce Timm was considering at one point.
The First Arc of James Robinson’s Starman Epic. Maybe Something with Vixen. The Justice Society’s or JSA’s First Team-Up.
As for me, BORN TO RUN: THE FLASH YR 1
