IESB is reporting that Greg Berlanti, co-writer of the Green Lantern film with Marc Guggenheim and creator/executive producer of such TV series as Eli Stone, Brothers & Sisters, and Everwood, is the “leading contender” to direct The Flash. (via SpeedsterSite)
The Flash is being written by Dan Mazeau from a story by Geoff Johns, who is also attached as a producer.
Does this mean the movie is officially green lit?
At this rate, I’ll believe it’s been greenlit when I’m sitting in the movie theater with a ticket stub in my pocket that says, “The Flash.”
Though with my luck the theater will misspell it, and I’ll actually end up seeing “The Falsh” instead.
I figure after Green Lantern hits and The PTB see the return then we will get our movie.

LOL.
I’ve never heard of this Greg Berlanti. Hope he’s good.
The only Greg Berlanti movie to date was absolutely terrible, while I loved Eli Stone to death. I cannot stand for such a lackluster director to helm this.
(I was very verbal about this during his Green Lantern days)
