Flash News and Tidbits

Here’s the full trailer for next week’s episode, titled “Crazy For You” (it’s possible this is another trailer which shows scenes from more than one episode).

More behind the jump. There are significant spoilers for the next two episodes of the series, so read at your own risk.

Today we also learned the title and official synopsis for the fourteenth episode, titled “Fallout”. It will air on February 17th.

GENERAL EILING TARGETS FIRESTORM — After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) and Dr. Stein (guest star Victor Garber), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) is thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling (guest star Clancy Brown) targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart. Meanwhile, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Hayworth) tells Iris (Candice Patton) that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel. Steve Surjik directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Ben Sokolowski.

This synopsis tells us a fair amount about what will happen in “Crazy For You” (ie, that Firestorm will separate), so that’s pretty significant.

And finally, here are a couple of relevant interviews about the show.

IGN talked to showrunner Andrew Kreisberg about upcoming villain activity in the series. It may be spoilery for upcoming episodes, so use discretion if you don’t like spoilers.

And The Wrap talked to Andy Mientus about playing the Pied Piper, including the possibility of more episodes.

Anyone here think that the ‘hood’ look for when Barry is in the suit but not wearing his cowl looks bad? The lightening bolts don’t have circles around them, making it SCREAM out as being a fake.

    Love the cowl.
