The above cover reminds me of my dad’s story of helping to set up a 1950’s testing of a rocket sled where they used an orangutan as the test pilot. From his description of it I’d say that ape probably had the same expression on it’s face as Grodd does here….and for pretty much the same reason.
Yet another great cover.
Maybe it’s my overwhelming optimism, but I read a big ‘SO FAR’ in that date statement. Their first date, perhaps not their last……..
