About Lia

Lia is a Canadian fan of the Flashes and the Rogues. She's particularly interested in memorabilia of the Rogues and Reverse Flashes, collecting art, and memorizing a whole lot of pointless trivia. She may be the world's only diehard fan of the Top due to a love of hopeless causes, and she runs a fan blog on Tumblr, known as gorogues or The Rogues Kick Ass.

Seems pretty generic paint by numbers hero-faces-villain plot. Zero nuance. Don’t quite get the excitement people get from watching this show. Honestly don’t.

Well uh, okay. I think it’s fun and am delighted that the people making the show seem to be having fun too. Hence the excitement.

Zero nuance?…its pretty layered at this point. What other hero/villain generic story involves the villain being a mentor/creator to the hero. What is generic about a villain who has to create his hero to get back to his time in the future, because if anything happens to Flash then he doesn’t exist in the future. The rogue gallery they are building is unique and dude GRODD!!!! People are excited about the show because its being done well (for the most part…YELLOW &*^DAMN BOOTS PEOPLE). People get excited about the show cause its fun to be excited. What I don’t get is why people bother if they are just going to be negative? What’s the point if your not enjoying yourself…I think the word I’m looking for is… why be so surly? Lastly, in three (well four technically) the show is awesome…Zoom, Grodd, Time Travel….the people rest.

I hardly EVER watch TV but I’m really in to this show. Can’t wait to learn how far into the future Thorn came from and what exactly went wrong when he went back into the past and accidentally killed Barry’s mother.

Yeah, same here; I hadn’t watched TV in several years, and then started when Barry appeared on Arrow. Flash and Arrow are the only shows I’m watching at the moment. I’m having a lot of fun with the show, which is the thing I’ve most enjoyed in years (since comics aren’t doing anything for me these days).
