BRIGHTEST DAY shines its light on the continuing saga of Barry Allen — The Fastest Man Alive! The Flash continues his investigation into the “Dastardly Death of the Rogues” as the case takes a dramatic turn and Barry corners a suspect — and can’t believe who it is!

This morning, DC released a five-page preview of the book at The Source, and unveiled the issue’s variant cover by Ryan Sook (after the cut):

I think I might want to look for this one!

Can’t wait! Looks like a fun ride….and I love the concept of Reverse Flash having his own “Reverse Rogues” in the far future. A very fun “Silver Age-y” spin….

That cover is fantastic. Hopefully all the alt covers will end up in the collected version.

I gotta say I’m really enjoying the relaunched Flash book. I wasn’t happy about Barry’s return, primarily because it pushes Wally to second in line. I was imagining this series would be no different from a Wally series, but with Barry in the lead role. As a result I wasn’t looking forward to this relaunched series.

Well, I’ve been pleasantly surprised so far. Johns so far is telling stories that only Barry could have starred in. Wally wouldn’t have worked in these issues. And they’ve been really entertaining.

I look forward to issue #3 and seeing more of the Revenge/Rogue characters.
