Where’s the larger figure from? It has bigger eye lenses…which makes it look a lot more friendly. The smaller Flash looks like Barry is a bit more annoyed.
(Which, given the premise, does rather fit.)
The larger figure was from the Young Justice line of toys, It was included in a two pack along with “classic” Kid Flash.
On a side note (maybe WAY to the side yet still germane since it has to do with animated Justice League voice actors) there’s this from the Daly Show featuring some key names.
Michael has a cameo…with Flash underwear.
I nearly spit out my fruit juice. Had to watch it a second time just to assimilate that it was real.

That was hilarious!!
Hilarious and kind of disturbing. 😀
I looked over the blu-ray package in the store and considered it…then went online and checked reviews. Glad I did.

From what I get, Batman and Cyborg save the rest of the League. Having just read Tower of Babel, one of the things I liked in the book was that it was the League that saved the League and not only a couple of highlighted characters being badass.
Read about the ‘burying alive’ scene and immediately thought Aquaman. Until I remembered Aquaman had been supplanted by Cyborg. Since both Aquaman and Cyborg are part of the new DCnU League…don’t understand why Aquaman was left out. I mean burying alive would be the perfect trap for a being who needs water, right? Instead its for Bruce. ‘kay.
Flash’s trap is to have a bomb strapped to his arm. I could swear I’ve either read or seen this done before. As one reviewer noted..if the intent was to kill Barry why not have the bomb go off within a few minutes (enough time for the villain to get away?) Scratching my head. Why not coat him in the one metal Barry isn’t supposed to be able to vibrate through? (Can’t recall which this was, but it was in one of the old universe stories.)
Niggling Questions: Just how much of this story as eventually released was what McDuffie wanted? Was the original story twisted not only to advertise the DCnU Justice League but also so as not to have to acknowledge Mark Waid? Is DC still in a snit over Waid? (Because I remember vividly that Mark was left out last year’s RetroActive Flash titles.)
So….yeah. Can’t garner the enthusiasm for this…even with a Flash figure.
