Mark Evanier has reported on his blog that Sheldon “Shelly” Moldoff, the last creator still with us who worked on the legendary Action Comics #1 passed away on Wednesday, at the grand old age of 91.
From Scans-Daily.
The weirdest stuff shows up on Google Images when you do a search with it. I went looking for Hank Pym/Ant-Man/Wasp and ended up on a cartoonist page….which had a section called The Fastest Pig Alive. Realistic cartoon art featuring Wonder Woman and a pig (no, this is not from that Justice League Animated episode), and the pig is wearing a Flash suit.
I haven’t actually read the action panels yet. Too bemused/shocked/wtf?!/half-asleep to process it yet. Came directly here to take a few to make sure my eyes were functioning correctly. Okay…wait while I go back.
Wonder Woman issue #138.
(THIS is why I never read Wonder Woman. Some subconscious cosmic knowledge that the series held things I’d be better off not knowing.)
Suddenly, the desire to surf the net is gone.
I’m going to bed.

I watched all of their eps a couple of days back, but this was the best one. (I’m biased, okay?) All the Superman references were cute though.
It’s nice to know that at least some people associated with DC have a sense of whacked humor.
Now if only the books would start showing some of the same.
