It’s been 75 years since the Flash first appeared, and DC has put together a fun video featuring a picture of the Flash from each year from 1940 to the present, including Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, plus a few alternate reality and future Flashes for good measure.
Don’t worry if you’re short on time; it goes by fast. 😉
Whereas I did like it, am also of mixed response. For a montage, I preferred the Superman 75 short–although Superman did have the bonus of actual theme music…something The Flash never had unless you count either of the TV shows.
Batman got an actual story and while that didn’t show the history of Batman, it was fun. Was kind of hoping they would have a short that would of at last given us Jay, Barry, Wally, Bart, and possibly the others like was shown here, but in a true animation and not just cut out scenes from various artwork through the years.
So I cheered upon seeing Puppet Barry, Justice Riders Flash, John Fox, and Walter, Wally & LInda….but am also feeling a bit disappointed too.
That black looking flash is one I don’t know. Anyone know more info?
Are you talking about the grim reaper flash? Maybe Walter West The Dark Flash
