“Infantino Street” – Review of S3 Ep22 of THE FLASH

This episode gives us the return of two villains once thought dead…but then, as Future Barry pointed out, the more you go back in time the less the rules apply. SO…..this is actually good news if you are a fan (like me) of these certain bad guys. Only 24 hours left to save Iris, so what can present-day Barry do? That’s what sets us off on a street named after the original Barry Allen artist (and co-creator of Barry Allen himself). Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!

NOTE: This review is posting before THE FLASH airs in the Pacific Time Zone USA. If you haven’t seen the show yet, STOP HERE and come back later, ok?

I’m not going to give too much here – just a general outline, because you really need to see this episode. This is an especially moving, action-packed, emotion-filled episode, and it deserves your viewing.

This takes us through the last 24 hours left before Savitar can kill Iris. The race is on to save her, and the weapon has been designed to trap Savitar…but it needs a power source that is hidden at ARGUS. Barry’s only hope? Get a master thief – Len Snart! Wait, isn’t Len dead?

Yes he is, but he also traveled through time with the LEGENDS, and Barry plucks him out of one of those adventures, returning him later on so the timeline would not be interrupted. Their adventure leads them to the power source, and to King Shark!

Let’s cut to the chase – although this will miss some absolutely outstanding scenes, and simply note that they do get the power source. Time continues to run down, and everyone is dealing with regrets that they couldn’t do more, or couldn’t do something sooner, or didn’t…well, can’t reveal that here.

Let’s just say that this episode gives us good explanations as to why Iris isn’t wearing her ring, why Wally isn’t there, basically everything that leads us to that one scene we keep seeing all through Season 3. And it leads to something I didn’t expect to see in this episode…you’ll have to watch the show to see what I mean (and yes, I’m certain that the comments below will tell you everything if you just have to know).

I’m not going to say more – you need to see this one.

SUMMARY: Lots of action, lots of emotion, a way to bring Len Snart in that makes sense and allows Wentworth Miller to remind us why they should never have killed off his character in LEGENDS, and King Shark! All that adds up to a 10/10 for me. What do YOU think? Leave your comments below!
