Wally and Linda are trapped in the Absolute version of the Mirror Dimension. Murder clones are after them! Can they escape before the clones (each of which looks exactly like Scudder) catch up to them? Can they find their way home at all? Wanna know more? Follow us after the jump!
SOME SPOILERS AHEAD!
Before we start, I apologize for being away for a bit. Thank you for your patience.
As they travel through the Mirror Dimension, they see that each mirror they pass looks at a different location. The Kent farm. Ralph Dibney’s mission. And…let’s just say some familiar faces and places are visible from inside the Mirror Dimension as well.
The murder clones are after them, but the real Sam Scudder pulls them out and explains the situation to them. Scudder can help Wally get to back to Still Point, but he needs help from Wally first. Scudder needs the last person Wally wants to see – Elenore Thawne! Where is she? Can they find her? And what will happen with those grinning faces we see at the end of the issue? That will have to wait for next issue (or the next after that).
NOTES:
- Several of the pages are purposefully upside-down. That’s a neat touch for the Mirror Dimension.
- I loved the inclusion of the places you could see from inside the Mirror Dimension. At least one of them ties Wally more firmly into the Absolute Universe, where other heroes live.
SUMMARY:
This series continues to excel, with great scripts from Jeff Lemire and an exceptional art team. I’ll give this issue a 9/10 – of course, that’s just my opinion. What do YOU think? Leave your comments below!
