Digging that Flash cover, it’s different from most
I was more taken by the Green Lantern cover. It goes without saying, Manapul is quite the talent.
“Learn the origins of Central and Keystone City”
Hey, if both cities are still around..doesn’t it mean we can still have two Flashes around or even the JSA?? (Flash!Wally West or Flash!Jay Garrick ??)
I think it should be clear by now that Wally isn’t gone because DC couldn’t fit him in continuity wise. He’s gone because for the moment, Editorial doesn’t want him around. Keystone being around isn’t going to change that.
And the JSA is now on Earth-2. That’s settled.
Perhaps they’re waiting for the right moment to introduce Wally (and perhaps Donna, too). Sounds like the current creative team have a plan for him.
Rule of thumb re the Flash, however: just because DC SAYS something about the Flash doesn’t mean it’s necessarily true. The history of the franchise during the last five years bears this out. Unless it’s in a solicitation or a published comic book, take it with several shakers of salt.
