Official Synopsis For “All Star Team Up”

The CW has released the official synopsis for the episode to air on April 14th, titled “All Star Team Up” (there’ll be a one-week break between “Tricksters” and this episode).

“All Star Team Up” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

ARROW’S FELICITY SMOAK (EMILY BETT RICKARDS) AND RAY PALMER (BRANDON ROUTH) ARRIVE IN CENTRAL CITY; EMILY KINNEY (“The Walking Dead”) GUETS STARS AS BRIE LARVIN — Barry (Grant Gustin) is surprised when Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) arrives from Starling City along with her boyfriend, Ray Palmer (guest star Brandon Routh), who flies in as the Atom. They’ve come to visit S.T.A.R. Labs as Ray needs help with his suit. Their timing turns out to be fortuitous because it’s all hands on deck after a meta human named Brie Larvin (guest star Emily Kinney) unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her former co-workers, including Dr. Tina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays). A group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) turns into a disaster. Kevin Tancharoen directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Kai Yu Wu (#118). Original airdate 4/14/2015

Seeing a Rule 63 version of the Bug-Eyed Bandit will definitely be something. It’ll be interesting to see how it’s done.

Flash Television Series Gets Second Season

Good news: it was announced today at the Television Critics Association press tour that The Flash series has been renewed for its second season! Its parent show, Arrow, has also been renewed for a fourth season. Much of the cast and series’ showrunners are appearing at the event in Pasadena, so there are a lot of news and interviews going on this weekend.

In other news, the CW announced a new animated series starring Vixen, but with Flash and the Arrow as supporting characters. Apparently it will be set in the same universe as the two live-action shows.

What do you think of potential crossovers between the Vixen series and The Flash? And are you looking forward to the show’s second season?

FLASH-ARROW Crossover Event (Review)

The big FLASH-ARROW crossover event is over…and what a ride! We find Oliver Queen (and his team) in Central City to fight Roy Bivolo (a name that should be familiar) and Barry Allen (and Cisco and Caitlin) in Starling City to track down Digger Harkness (another VERY familiar name). There are some interesting developments for all the characters, even though there are a couple of nagging things that we’ll get to…but overall it was a great two-night event. WARNING: There will be a few spoilers…not a lot…but still…
