Yes, I do still plan on reviewing Flashpoint #1 myself. It’s just been a busy week.
I just can’t get into Barry Allen. I’ll keep reading because I don’t think me giving up totally on The Flash is going to bring Wally back. But I just cannot get into what makes Barry Allen so interesting. Wally was such a staple of the DC Universe. He was a great character and one of the only ones, including Dick Grayson, who has truly matured and evolved over the course of time. I just can’t understand how Wally could have been pushed off to the side with no “back-up plan.” Sorry Geoff, I appreciate your love for The Flash, but I feel like you picked the wrong one to root for. Hopefully Flashpoint can change my mind, 1-12 of The Flash didn’t.
I still think a second Flash book, similar to what we have a in greater scale for GL, Batman and Supes, could work 😛
At least, give Wally to Mark Waid or some other writer that isn’t Geoff Johns…
I’m with Johnny, I grew up with Barry, he was my Flash. Was. Wally became more interesting, and I miss him.
As long as a Second Flash book is Wally and not all ages and does not co-star Bart …
I would be interested. I would rather read about Wally Flash than Barry Flash.
