Flash TV Villain News

Lots of stuff to go through today, and there are definitely spoilers, so check them out after the jump.

It was recently announced that the African-American woman seen in the most recent trailers is Peek-A-Boo, the teleporting girl from the Geoff Johns era; presumably that’s why she mentions in the trailer that most people can’t keep up with her. She’s played by Britne Oldford (Skins) and will be in the thirteenth episode, “Crazy For You”.

Speaking of which, here’s the official synopsis for that episode:

“Crazy for You” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, DLV) (HDTV)

LOVE IS IN THE AIR — Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) decides that she and Barry (Grant Gustin) need to move on from Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) and Iris (Candice Patton) and find new loves so she takes him for a night out at the local karaoke bar. Caitlin doesn’t have any luck making a love connection but Barry meets Linda Park (guest star Malese Jow), a sports reporter for the Central City Picture News, and asks her out on a date. When Barry tells Iris he has a date, Iris is surprised by her reaction. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Ramon) considers Hartley’s (guest star Andy Mientus) dangerous offer and the team searches for Shawna (guest star Britne Oldford), a meta-human with teleportation powers, who just busted her boyfriend Clay (guest star Micah Parker) out of Iron Heights. When Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipps) snoops around in an attempt to help Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Barry solve the crime, he ends up in the infirmary after getting roughed up by inmates. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#112). Original airdate 2/3/2015

Flashfans.org has some promotional stills and set photos from “Going Rogue”, which will air on January 20th. They mostly feature Captain Cold and Heat Wave, as well as the people fighting them.

TVLine has an interview with Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) and Dominic Purcell (Heat Wave), in which they discuss a bit about their characters. It’s somewhat spoilery for next week’s episode.

And finally, there’s been a lot of talk about the Reverse Flash lately. CBR has an interview with Tom Cavanagh, in which he talks about the little hints he’s been giving about his identity all season.

You’ll also see more discussion about the Reverse Flash (or is that Reverse Flashes?) with showrunner Andrew Kreisberg. He also talks about the introduction of time travel to the series, and the debut of the real Weather Wizard.

Very excited to see Shipp getting more screen time. I was hoping they’d explore his incarceration more

It is a crime if any actor plays Golden Age Jay Garrick besides Shipp. Tell me he doesn’t look like Jay Garrick.

Shipp would be a great Jay but to be honest I don’t want to see any speedsters on this show besides barry and reverse flash.
It’ll cheapen the magic of what barry can do

It is a little weird, but if they introduce Wally he’d probably be fairly young. So I don’t know how likely he’d be dating anyway.

Really hate that they’re pairing Barry with Linda. After everything they’ve taken from Wally and given to Barry, giving away his wife is just perverse. Where’s Fiona Webb or Daphne Dean? Where’s freakin’ Patty Spivot?
    I refuse to support this…
