The CW has released the official synopsis for the second Flash episode of 2016. The episode will air on January 26th, and its title is a spoiler so I’m not putting it out in the open. Spoilers behind the jump!

HE’S BACK… — When Cisco (Carlos Valdes) gets a vibe of Eobard Thawne (guest star Matthew Letscher), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team don’t believe it. But, after an attack at Mercury Labs, Christina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays) confirms that the Reverse Flash is back. Meanwhile, Iris (Candice Patton) and Francine (guest star Vanessa A. Williams) share a nice moment that brings Iris closer to her brother, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale). Michael Allowitz directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#211). Still no details on who this particular Eobard Thawne is (is he from another Earth, or from a point in Earth-1’s timeline before his death?), so it’ll be interesting to see just who he is. What are you hoping to see? And are you looking forward to seeing Wally find his place amongst the Wests?
