The DC TV panels are still going on at SDCC, so I have a fair bit to write up. But first off, here’s the first look at next season of The Flash, showing us the world of Flashpoint. And there’s a hint of at least one major villain we haven’t seen before, one that was announced today.

What do you think of the teaser? Who else is excited for season three?
I gave up on this show a long time ago. But the Flashpoint narrative looks interesting. Not because of the alternate dimension. It’s because the characterisation looks to have more substance, and Barry (from what I’ve seen) looks a bit more mature and less whinny.
I’m really looking forward to seeing where they go with this. I was apprehensive after the season 2 finale, but this looks promising.
