Loved the Dark Flash costume but the story was a bit too convoluted.
I like it so far. It’s got some 80’s style cheese on it and some occasionally awful art, but I like some of what’s going on with Walter.
And yeah, that costume is awesome. I made it in Soul Calibur V 🙂
Yeah, it is a great costume. I think a variation on it would have made for a great look for Wally West after Flash: Rebirth. It was 100% The Flash, but even if you make it more red than black, it’s still distinct enough from Barry’s outfit that you’d be able to tell them apart at a glance, instead of having to take a second look. Not that it ended up mattering in the long run.
I always thought this would have made a good collection (back when DC was only collecting highlights), so I’m glad to see it finally making its way to reprints in some form or another.
That was my biggest problem with Barry’s return was “what will we do with Wally?”… Apparently we just cover his nose and have three guys running around calling themselves the Flash.
I would have preferred he take on something like this for sure.
