This issue of THE FLASH picks up two different threads. First, we pick up “The War for Earth-3” with the Johnny Quick of Earth-3 getting ready to raid the Flash Museum. And at the same time, we pick up from the end of last issue as Linda makes a significant discovery about her own abilities. Eclipso has been hanging around since the early-to-mid Silver Age, and has proven to be one of the most powerful bad guys in the DCU. But, Eclipso has rarely been this formidable – and that makes for a fantastic story arc that ends here in THE FLASH 779. Irey and Jai play important roles here, as does the daughter of Animal Man.
