Flash: Rebirth #5 Pushed Back Again

Category: Flash News — By Kelson @ 11:21 pm

Flash: Rebirth #5I can’t say I’m surprised, but I am disappointed. According to DC’s website, Flash: Rebirth #5 is now scheduled for October 28, 2009, rather than October 14. The conclusion is still scheduled for November 25, which is just one week before the scheduled launch of Blackest Night: The Flash on December 2.

I hope they can complete this miniseries before the next one starts. And if they do push it back, I really hope they still launch Blackest Night: Flash in December.

Update October 8: It’s been delayed another week.

Update: Several delays later, it’s now set for November 18.

Who wants to bet that the cover will have Thawne in place of the Black Flash when this is finally published?

  5. Freddie Ray says:

But do we really think it’ll come out even then? Ethan is supposed to go on a world tour mid-October for something like three weeks.

Where will this put #6? January? February?

Sorry, I posted something earlier and it didn’t come up.

The book doesn’t seem to be a priority to anyone involved. Ethan and Geoff both have found their share of distractions over the last year and a half that they’ve been working on the book. And now it looks like Ethan is taking a three week road trip in mid October.
