Without any fanfare, DC slipped some art from The Flash #19 and Francis Manapul’s Reverse Flash design drawings into this morning’s B&B column featuring Bob Harras and Bobbie Chase. This gives us a clearer view than the first look in Flash #17.
Now that we’ve seen a better view of the costume, what do you think?

Really impressive, I like this new look for Reverse Flash.
I like it and want an action figure of it immediately. I like how the black seems to be enveloping the red.
The only minor complaint is the orientation of the lightning bolt. I like it to zig down. It just looks better to me.

The lighting bolt zigs the “correct” way in Flash #17. And the earpieces are black.
im not sure about this look yet. with the costume having black i wonder if along with his reverse powers, he also is also able to harness the power of the Black Flash. we do know that it is a black essence of the speed force. It has shown to be able to incarnate itself within a host, at one point being within Barry Allen in flash re-birth.
Regardless of who he is, Wally, this is a great design.

Maybe its because of Easter on the horizon, but he looks like a victim of a cat-o-nine-tails, okay? My gorge is rising, imagination on overdrive, and I don’t want to look more than a few seconds, so….yeah, will wait for an actual story scan. Maybe then it won’t look so much like flayed open black skin and blood trailing everywhere. Sorry. Really.

Sorry, but as a fan of the Flash comics since the early ’80s, I don’t like this color scheme for the Reverse-Flash. It’s a good design, but this should have been given to a different character than one called the Reverse Flash.

Reverse Carnage is more like it, especially with the “tendrills” look. So far not a big fan, but we’ll see how it gets pulled off in the book.
With the red tendrils and outlines, I’m wondering if this is related to the Negative Speed Force in any way.
Still, a striking visceral design. Can’t wait to see him in action.

Definately peaks my interest and it looks cool. I dont like how they flash team dismisses the old reverse flash costume cause its yellow, but change is-a-coming so i like this just fine. Cant wait to see how it plays out and what his power set it and who he is. I would love to see a little bit of all reverse flashes tied in a little (even the rival) ooooooooo just thought of that in earth 2 they should re introduce the rival!!
