So many Easter Eggs! SO much Flash history! This is a book that you can’t read just once…or twice…or…you get it. We get a FLASH title that centers on the original Wally West, and at the same time foreshadows both the upcoming FLASH WAR and even larger events for the DC universe as a whole! Just as Barry Allen signaled the beginning of the Silver Age, Wally West signaled the REBIRTH of the DCU…and all this mashup of history is coming to a boil with some surprise details and more than one surprise return! Flash Annual #1 Preview

The first Flash annual of the Rebirth era is out this week, and you can see the official 11-page preview at Den of Geek. The preview features the return of old-school Wally West to the book, as well as the Top. Interestingly, the Top possibly hints at memories of the pre-Flashpoint universe and a desire to restore others’ memories, although it’s not always clear with him whether that’s reality or part of his mental health issues. Plus there’s mysterious destruction in the 25th century Flash Museum, so check out the preview at the above link.

This was meant to be a very momentous issue of THE FLASH – after all, present numbering aside it’s the 700th issue! So, we get a classic Flash bad guy (ape) and the start to a very wild ride for Barry and company.  So…did it live up to the hype? Will Barry and Iris ever get together? “Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash” Photos

The CW has released some still images from next week’s episode of The Flash, and you can see them at All About TV News. As you may have seen in the trailer shown last night, the episode will focus on Barry helping Bir Sir, as well as Cisco and Ralph shrunk down by an enemy metahuman. Plus, there’s a subplot involving Joe and Cecile, and it seems like they may be in couples’ therapy like Barry and Iris.
