“The Once And Future Flash” Synopsis

We still have to wait until April 25th for the next episode of The Flash, but the CW has released the official synopsis and a slightly different teaser for it. The episode’s titled “The Once and Future Flash”.

“The Once and Future Flash”

TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTS; BARRY TRAVELS TO THE FUTURE TO SAVE IRIS – Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton). Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar. It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues.
Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Carina Adly MacKenzie (#319). Original airdate 4/25/2017.

There’s a slightly better glimpse of Mirror Master and the Top in this teaser, but the synopsis suggests they aren’t a major part of the episode. We’ll see.

Here’s the extended trailer for the next episode of The Flash, titled “The Once And Future Flash”. The episode won’t air until April 25th, so we’ve got almost an entire month to wait.

Looking forward to Barry’s trip into the future? (There’s also a cameo by Mirror Master in the clip, so he’ll be in the episode too). What do you hope to see in the episode? Share your thoughts!

Justice League Film Trailer

Warner Brothers has released the first full trailer for the Justice League film, and there’s a lot to see. Check it out here.

The Flash scene with the batarang has been shown previously, but we get a glimpse of Henry Allen and an obvious hint about Barry’s backstory (it’s probably going to be de rigueur in every portrayal of Barry from now on). Plus a bit of tension between the metahumans and the all-too-human Batman, which is always welcome. And Aquaman seems like he may be the breakout star of this film.

The movie will be released in November of this year.

Sneak Peek At The Flash In The Justice League Film

There will be a new Justice League film trailer this weekend, and Warner Brothers has been releasing new posters and quick character teasers in preparation for it. At left, you can see the new Flash poster, and here’s his fifteen-second teaser clip.

Deadline has the teasers for Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman if you’re interested (Superman and Cyborg haven’t been released yet, apparently, but the page may be updated when they are). And be sure to come back here for the official Justice League trailer on Saturday!

Here’s the extended trailer for next week’s episode of The Flash, titled “Duet”. It’s the big musical crossover episode with the Music Meister (Darren Criss) and the cast of Supergirl, with guest appearances by Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Martin Stein (Victor Garber). All are accomplished singers, of course.
