Sorry for the pun). Barry also gets to see another side of Harrison Wells…and we see the nature of time in a way in this episode as well. This episode has an underlying theme about friends…how they come into your life, who stays in your life, who leaves your life…and how you don’t always have a choice in which way that turns out. Still, this episode gives us a LOT of explosions, which makes sense when you realize the latest meta-human to hit Central City is none other than Plastique! All this and General Eiling too, in Episode 105 of CW’s THE FLASH!

I’m quickly going to run out of superlatives for this series…the best superhero show in years continues with Episode 3 of THE FLASH (technically episode 103, signifying the first season). The episode is very aptly named “Things You Can’t Outrun”, with an interesting villain revived from Starman’s rogues, and some neat twists and Easter Eggs dropped throughout.

This issue of THE FLASH brings us the big battle between Future Barry and the Barry Allen we know in the New 52. As you can guess from the last time they met (5 years in the future in FUTURES END: THE FLASH), this is going to be BIG…for a lot of reasons.
