This week the CONVERGENCE tie-ins visit that time just before the original Crisis on Infinite Earths, and with that we get a look at the Silver/Bronze Age Barry Allen. This age of heroes is trapped under their dome in Gotham City, without powers and seemingly without hope. How does the Scarlet Speedster handle living without his speed?

Let’s start off with this nifty Reverse Flash promotional image (click to enlarge). And then behind the jump is the official synopsis for upcoming episode “Rogue Air”. It’s pretty spoilery, as are all these synopses, and won’t air until May 12th — so there are two more episodes before it. It’s actually the second-last episode of the season.
This episode of The Flash had some big reveals, at least one big swerve (if you’ve been watching the preview clips), and some uneven results – but it still adds up to an episode that will have serious impact moving forward. Who IS Harrison Wells? Yes, WE know…but the fun is watching Barry, Joe and company figuring it out piece by piece.

Here’s the thirty-second teaser for next week’s episode of The Flash, titled “The Trap”. As expected, it’s quite spoilery (and you might want to watch this week’s episode first).
Flashfans.org has some official stills from upcoming episode “Grodd Lives”. Strangely, there’s no Grodd in them. That episode will air on May 5th.

Quick note: ComiXology is running a Convergence Week 3 sale featuring DC comics from the 1980s. If you scroll way down to the end, you’ll find The Flash #340-350, featuring the famous (or is it infamous) “Trial of the Flash” story that wrapped up the pre-Crisis series starring Barry Allen.
After releasing two issues a week for several months, DC hasn’t added any new Flash issues to their digital backlist since the big Flash 500 sale in March. Maybe we’ll see more after Convergence?
