“Crisis on Earth-X” Extended Trailer

The CW has released the extended trailer for next week’s big four-show crossover, titled “Crisis on Earth-X”. The clip is about two and a half minutes long, so it contains many more snippets and details than any of the previous trailers we’ve seen. Check it out below.

The episodes will air on November 27th (Supergirl and Arrow) and November 28th (The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow). Will you be watching, and if so what aspects are you most looking forward to?

New CW Crossover Teaser and Images

The CW has released a third teaser for the upcoming crossover storyline, called “Crisis on Earth-X”. The episodes will air on November 27th and 28th, and they encompass all four of the CW DCU shows. As you can see, it involves a very large cast.

Plus, the CW posted a lot of still images from the episodes, which will probably give away much of the story if you look at all of them. But they can be viewed at Farfarawaysite.com if you aren’t bothered by potential spoilers.

CW Crossover Synopsis

The CW has released the official synopsis for the upcoming four-way crossover, which will air on November 27th and 28th. There will be four episodes, although they’ve only released one description for all four.

THE EPIC FOUR-WAY CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW,” “SUPERGIRL,” “THE FLASH” AND “DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW” BEGINS — Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.

Comicbook.com states that the Arrow episode is Part Two, and will air at 9 PM on Monday, November 27th to accomodate this (the show usually airs on Thursdays, so it’s worth remembering). Part One is on Supergirl at 8 PM on November 27th, and the remaining two parts will be shown with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow on November 28th.

First Look At This Season’s CW Crossover

First off, a note that much of what’s in this post is very spoilery, particularly for The Flash and Arrow.

The CW has released an official teaser image for the upcoming season’s mega crossover, and it’s a doozy. It seemingly features a wedding between Barry and Iris, a conflict with another Earth we’ve never seen before, the introduction of The Ray, the return of Captain Cold (wearing his comicsverse visor, no less), and of course a massive team-up between a lot of different shows. We’ll be seeing the heroes’ evil doppelgangers of Earth-X, and this image also tells us a few of the people who survived the explosion in the season finale of Arrow.

The image is apparently by well-known comics artist Phil Jimenez. He brings an appropriately comic book aesthetic to the piece, which is fitting and nice to see.

The Ray will be starring in his own CW Seed series, but I didn’t expect him to be crossing over in live action too. He’ll be played in live action and voiced in the animated series by Russell Tovey.

So this is a lot to take in, and seems pretty epic! Who’s looking forward to the crossover, and what do you find most (or least) intriguing about it? Share your thoughts here.
