DC’s November 2020 Solicitations

DC has posted the full complement of solicitations for November 2020, and here are all the ones relating to the Flash. It will be a month of change, as several Flash-related titles like Young Justice and Teen Titans are having their final issues, though it’s not clear what will happen to Impulse and Kid Flash afterwards. The core Flash title continues with new writer Kevin Shinick.

Tales From the Dark Multiverse: Flashpoint Story Announced

DC has announced an upcoming ‘what if?’ story in the Tales From the Dark Multiverse line, and this one is about an altered history of Flashpoint. The issue’s synopsis is as follows:

“Spinning out of the events of a world where a single choice by the Flash affected the entire DC Universe, find out what would have happened if Barry Allen had not put things right. If a world where the Flashpoint reality was never undone, where Thomas Wayne still haunts Gotham City as the Batman, and the Amazonian and Atlantean armies still prepare for war, will the Reverse Flash embrace this darker more deadly world and finally eclipse Barry Allen’s legacy?”

So obviously we’ll see just how bad the Flashpoint reality can get. The issue will be released on November 17th of this year.

DC has posted four preview pages for this week’s issue of The Flash, and you can see them at Comic Watch. The preview shows the aftermath of the co-ordinated attack seen at the end of last issue, and it’s clear that the Legion of Zoom is thus far toying with Barry. Check it out at the link.

With these solicits, they’ve also announced the new creative team for the solo Flash book: Kevin Shinick as writer, and Clayton Henry on art. Their run begins that month, and kicks off with a couple of Rogue stories. Dr Alchemy has scarcely been seen since before Flashpoint.
