Plus, Keystone City is abuzz over the new threat in town, who just might be the finish line for the Flash!

Notes: Chances are pretty good this will, in fact, be the final story arc in this series.

This Week (Sep 10): Trinity & Super-Friends

It’s a light week for Flash-related books, with only Super Friends #7 and Trinity #15.

Trinity continues the battle between the Justice League and the Crime Syndicate. Super Friends has the always-smiling toy versions of the Leaguers going up against Amos Fortune in, if the cover is anything to judge by, a skateboarding contest.

This Week (Sep 4): Titans & Invasion!

Keep in mind, that comics are out Thursday this week (at least in the U.S.) due to the Labor Day holiday.

The conclusion of “Fast Money”! The Flash returns to Keystone, making some bold moves to get his life and reputation back on track – with some serious consequences for his family!

Note: This is Tom Peyer’s and Freddie Williams II’s final issue before Alan Burnett and Paco Diaz take over for a 4-issue arc. Aftet that, the series goes on hold for Flash: Rebirth. Personally, I felt that Peyer and Williams finally “got” the book and would have made a good long-term creative team, but it’s clear from sales figures that a lot of readers either didn’t like their take, disliked the Flash Family concept, or had already dropped the book and didn’t want to pick it up again.

Williams is returning to Robin, while Peyer moves on to Galveston and Marvel Apes.

Not much in the way of new Flash material this week, but DC is issuing the reprint of Final Crisis: Rogues’ Revenge #1. The Flash also makes appearances in Trinity and Millennium.
