“Cold” is a running theme throughout this show, for reasons that go beyond the appearance of Leonard Snart. More than one relationship needs a serious thaw as The Flash gets ready to fight his first non-meta supervillain (and, in this spirit of full disclosure, my favorite Rogue), Captain Cold!

I’m quickly going to run out of superlatives for this series…the best superhero show in years continues with Episode 3 of THE FLASH (technically episode 103, signifying the first season). The episode is very aptly named “Things You Can’t Outrun”, with an interesting villain revived from Starman’s rogues, and some neat twists and Easter Eggs dropped throughout.

This issue of THE FLASH brings us the big battle between Future Barry and the Barry Allen we know in the New 52. As you can guess from the last time they met (5 years in the future in FUTURES END: THE FLASH), this is going to be BIG…for a lot of reasons. But, if you think you knew how this one would end…well…you may have another thing coming!
