“Beacon of Hate” Review of THE FLASH 775

To say that I’m really enjoying Jeremy Adams’ run on THE FLASH would be the understatement of the year. This issue is one more reason why. Combine the best of Wally West’s personality with just a touch of Silver Age fun…then bring it all into the present with a bang, and you get what we’re seeing here. This sets up an existential threat from a classic Justice League villain, promising more great stories to come. Wanna know more? Follow us after the jump!

DC has posted the full complement of solicitations for January 2022, and here are all the ones relating to the Flash. They’re sparse again, as has been typical for the past few months. When our heroes saved the Multiverse from Perpetua in Dark Nights: Death Metal, everything was put back where it belonged…and we do mean everything. All the damage from all the Crises was undone, and heroes long thought gone returned from whatever exile they had been in.
Most of them, at least.
Alan Scott, the Green Lantern of the Justice Society of America, has noticed some of his allies are still missing in action, and he’s determined to find them. There are others, though, who would rather remain hidden than explain themselves, like Roy Harper, a.k.a. Arsenal, a man who should be dead but now is not. Plus, what does all this mean for the DCU’s place in the Multiverse? On opposite sides of a dimensional divide, both Barry Allen and President Superman ponder this question. Not to mention the Darkseid of it all! Or a team of Multiversal heroes called Justice Incarnate!

“Dream Big” Review of THE FLASH 774

In his first issues as writer of THE FLASH, Jeremy Adams has taken on re-introducing the Wally West we all loved prior to FLASHPOINT.  Wally’s family has come back to the spotlight as well, and that’s also a very good thing. This issue puts the spotlight on Wally’s daughter Irey, and on a very heart-warming father-daughter relationship. It’s a great story before we start diving into whatever that thing is that’s floating through space toward Earth. Wanna know more? Follow us after the jump!
