After last night’s amazing episode, we shift the scene to Gotham City. There is a LOT that we learn in this chapter of ELSEWORLDS, in another action-packed episode. Having Batwoman’s official debut after that quick cameo last night leads us to a lot of possibilities as well. How many Easter Eggs from the Bat-mythos will we see in this show? Let me get this out of the way…I loved this issue of THE FLASH! From the sheer number of Easter Eggs in the opening splash page to the discovery of [REDACTED] at the end, this was a great issue. Among the comics I never thought I’d have the opportunity to review would be…well, this one! Still, The Flash / Speed Buggy Special was a very pleasant surprise. This was meant to be a very momentous issue of THE FLASH – after all, present numbering aside it’s the 700th issue! So, we get a classic Flash bad guy (ape) and the start to a very wild ride for Barry and company. So…did it live up to the hype? Will Barry and Iris ever get together?
