DC has posted a 6-page preview and both the standard and alternate covers for next week’s Flash: Rebirth #2 to The Source.
Edit: Does anyone else remember the Wonder Woman Plus Jesse Quick one-shot? In it, Savitar’s former acolyte, Christina, sought revenge against him by trying to “rob him of his victory” and pull him out of the speed force against his will.
DC’s new blog, the Source, is reporting that Flash: Rebirth #1 has sold out at the distributor. Local comic stores may or may not still have copies.
A second printing will follow on April 29, featuring the “missing” variant cover by Ethan Van Sciver — the front view of Barry putting on his boots, rather than the side view from the initial promo image and the first printing — that appeared on DC’s solicitations for the issue.
Midtown Comics has posted images of the covers for Flash: Rebirth #1, shipping next week!
On the left is the standard cover, using the now-familiar image of the Flash putting on his boots. On the right is the retailer incentive variant, showing Barry Allen as he ejects his costume from his ring. Both are by series artist Ethan Van Sciver.
The Midtown Comics website does point out that these aren’t necessarily scans of the actual comics, and could be stock images.
