I’m back from two days (Thursday & Friday) at Comic-Con International in San Diego. Lia has been keeping you all up to date with the news and announcements, and I’ve been putting together my photo album from the event, including a lot of pics that didn’t make it to Instagram. Check out the photo gallery on Flickr, [update] or my writeup at K2R!

To Comic-Con! (SDCC 2014 Edition)
Comic-Con International starts tonight and runs through Sunday, and as usual, Speed Force will be there to provide you with Flash-centric coverage.
Covering the Con
I’ll be onsite Thursday and Friday, tweeting and sharing photos from the floor, and posting photos nightly to Flickr. I’ll also be participating in SDCCBlog’s photo & video event on Google+ again. Watch for live coverage in the following places:
- @SpeedForceOrg on Twitter
- Photos at @SpeedForceOrg on Instagram (from my phone)
- Photos at KelsonV on Flickr (nightly, phone & camera)
- SDCCBlog’s 2014 San Diego Comic-Con Photo and Video Experience
Plus we’ll be keeping an eye on the news reports out of the con for Flash-related announcements and Q&A items from panels.
Sadly, I won’t be able to make it to the big DC Entertainment event on Saturday. If you’re going to be at the con, plan on catching the premeire, and would like to write up the discussion/announcements, please let me know through the contact form. Thank you!
We’ve also got a list of Tips for Comic-Con to help you make your most of San Diego (and other cons, though some of the tips are SDCC-specific). Finally, here’s the archive of all our 2013 Comic-Con coverage from last year.
Flash vs. the Bleak Despair of Existence
I’ve been meaning to post this all week: The Flash faces bleak existential despair in Patrick (H) Willems’ short fan film, En Fläsh, bringing you the scarlet speedster in the style of classic director Ingmar Bergman (The Seventh Seal).
SPOILER ALERT – Wally’s Appearance in Flash #30
After the jump we will have a major SPOILER to discuss regarding Wally West in FLASH #30 – do not go forward unless you’ve read the latest issue (or unless you don’t mind being spoiled)…
SPOILER AHEAD – YOU’VE BEEN WARNED
WonderCon Photos are up! (2014)
After a weekend at WonderCon, I’m desperately in need of some sleep. But I did manage to get all my photos online, not just the ones taken with the phone. Check out my WonderCon 2014 Flickr album!
Update: I finally got around to writing up the con at K2R.
Barry Allen Wins DC Marvel Superhero March Madness!
Thanks to a LOT of support from ardent Flash fans, Barry Allen is the Champion of DC Marvel Superhero March Madness at TMStash.com! The competition started with 64 characters, divided equally between DC and Marvel favorites, and just ended earlier tonight (April 6th). Barry received almost 2/3 of over 15,000 votes cast in the final round! Yes, there were multi-voters on both sides of the aisle on this one, but Flash fans were certainly the most enthusiastic in pushing the Scarlet Speedster over the top! Here’s the link to the official announcement at TMStash:

The staff at TMStash are already in the early stages of planning for next year’s event, and they send along their thanks to you and to Speedforce.org for allowing the regular updates over here. Thanks to everyone for stopping by and voting!
