The second day of Flash March Madness has come to a close, and the results are in!

Mirror Master (Evan McCullough) d. The Thinker in the most one-sided contest of the day

Day 3 is underway, with today’s match ups featuring:

Digger Harkness v. Magenta
Turbine v. Pied Piper

Flash March Madness at The Fastest Forum Alive!

Those who follow American college basketball’s national tournament are familiar with the term “March Madness”.  At The Fastest Forum Alive, one of their members known as Speedster has set up a 32-player bracket pitting Rogues old and new against each other, in a battle for Rogue supremacy!

The Fastest Forum Alive is a fan form that you may have seen mentioned on this site before, bringing together fans of every Flash from Jay to Barry to Wally to Bart.  Membership is and always will be free – but you are not required to be a member to vote.  Guests can vote in this event, and we look forward to Flash fans everywhere joining in.   Watch for the polls to start soon at the site!

Flash and Rogues Crafts

piper doll2 Rune is a multi-talented crafter: she knits fan-related clothing, knits Rogue dolls, and builds countless characters out of paper (also known as ‘papercraft’). She’s a Rogues and Flash fan and has made many of them in various forms, as well as creations of other DC characters and other fandoms like Doctor Who.

You can see more of her papercraft and knitted works at her DeviantArt gallery, and her Ravelry knitting account is here (unfortunately it seems you need a Ravelry account of your own to view the site). And she’s taking commissions, which you can find out about here!

I asked her about how she makes these items, and she graciously gave an interview.

Plush Rogue dolls

She’s also made Deadpool, but the majority of her dolls have been Rogues! I asked her some questions, and she’s generously answered with tips and hints about how she makes them and how other people might make their own.
