Not to be too punny, but I’m running behind on this review…and I’ll explain later in this post. But, I didn’t want to miss out on the chance to say a few words about this issue. Whatever I expected from the mid-season cliffhanger, THE FLASH exceeded it all. The mark of a great mid-season finale is that it leaves you anxiously pleading to see what comes next. THIS is how you should do a crossover. CRISIS ON EARTH-X checks off all the boxes – spectacular action, high-impact emotional content, opportunities for each character to shine, and significant implications for future storylines all around. Best of all, no one talked about having a mother named Martha (sorry, just had to add that)!
