The gang’s all here…including some blasts from the past no one would have expected (unless you’ve seen all the promos, trailers, articles and other spoilers for who would show up). It’s the 100th Episode of THE FLASH! We have a VERY wild ride ahead, so let’s just go straight to the review, right? Right!
Here’s hoping all my friends in the USA had a great Thanksgiving. As for Team Flash, In this episode we see them preparing for their own Thanksgiving dinner at the West-Allens. Of course, no celebration on THE FLASH is complete without a major villain battle. There are major father-daughter relationship issues highlighted in this episode, each with a different slant (and a different outcome). And, we learn even more about the backstory of Cicada. This week we find a version of Ragdoll that seems pulled straight out of Secret Six, just as creepy as the Gail Simone and Dale Eaglesham creation. We find Nora and Iris still working through their estrangement. And, the hunt continues for Caitlin’s dad, with help from a still-wounded Vibe. Lot’s of parent issues in this episode…and one of the best episodes of the young season. Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!
After last week’s “Death of Vibe”, we take a break from direct attacks by Cicada…and yet we learn some key things about the big bad of the season along the way. More important, we learn just why Nora has a problem with Iris…and we learn that there was more fallout (figuratively and literally) from that satellite incident last season than we had thought. We’ve now been introduced to our big bad of the season, Cicada…but there are more surprises ahead. If the title of this episode doesn’t get your attention, I don’t know what to say…except that there are even more twists ahead in what promises to be a very good season of THE FLASH! Nora will be sticking around Central City for a while, so Team Flash is trying to get things back to normal. Problem is, nothing is ever truly normal for Team Flash. Cisco is lovesick over Gypsy, Cecile is worried about losing her powers, Caitlin wonders if her father is still alive, the satellites are still not working so they can’t track metas…oh, and there is someone out there killing people with meta powers! This is a jam-packed episode of THE FLASH…and that’s actually a very good thing! Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!
