Last week, we saw a fantastic spotlight show for Cisco Ramon. This week shifts the focus to Ralph Dibny, showcasing him at his very best. This episode pays homage – with a wink and a nod – to all things 007, and they pull it off well. Barry and Ralph go on an adventure together that you may want to see more than once, if only to catch all the Bond references. Still, there is a theme that goes beyond 007 – it’s embracing who you really are. Wanna know more? Follow us after the jump!
This episode was all about family. Not “happy family”…no, this was about families that were strained to the point of breaking. When we left the last episode, Barry had stranded Nora in the future without telling anyone, even Iris. But, that’s not the only family situation in an episode titled “Snow Pack”. Things are going off the rails quickly, and whether things can be righted back is the question here. Wanna know more? Follow us after the jump!
Any fans of “Groundhog Day” the movie out there? It’s one of those movies that I somehow have to stop and watch whenever it shows up on TV. Tonight’s episode is the superhero version of that plot, and it works brilliantly here. Watch Nora as she tries to save everyone, and tries again, and again, and…you get the idea. It’s “Cause and XS” on THE FLASH! Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!
This week we find a version of Ragdoll that seems pulled straight out of Secret Six, just as creepy as the Gail Simone and Dale Eaglesham creation. We find Nora and Iris still working through their estrangement. And, the hunt continues for Caitlin’s dad, with help from a still-wounded Vibe. Lot’s of parent issues in this episode…and one of the best episodes of the young season. Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!
We’re back! After two weeks off, THE FLASH returns to the airwaves with a NEW episode! Just to recap – DeVoe is on a second new identity and is walking around with the powers of six of the riders on that now-infamous bus after an attack on Iron Heights. Barry is freed from jail after “DeVoe” (actually Ralph disguised as DeVoe) appears in court. We are about to be introduced to the Arrowverse incarnation of The Fiddler…and Ralph is headed for heartbreak. Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!
Ralph Dibny is learning how to be a hero. He even gets his own (awful) suit, with a color that should be familiar to at least some comics fans…but still awful. He has a lot of education ahead of him…it’s a bit of a “stretch” to say he’s a hero yet (couldn’t resist that) but he is at least putting forth the effort. Meanwhile, we see the “Council of Wells”…which is an experience in an of itself. All this plus the debut of the DCTV version of Black Bison! Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!
