“When Harry Met Harry” Review of S4 Ep6 of THE FLASH

Ralph Dibny is learning how to be a hero. He even gets his own (awful) suit, with a color that should be familiar to at least some comics fans…but still awful. He has a lot of education ahead of him…it’s a bit of a “stretch” to say he’s a hero yet (couldn’t resist that) but he is at least putting forth the effort.  Meanwhile, we see the “Council of Wells”…which is an experience in an of itself. All this plus the debut of the DCTV version of Black Bison! Want to know more? Follow us after the jump!

“Elongated Journey Into Night” Review of THE FLASH S4 Ep4

One of my favorite DC characters, from the Silver Age on, has been Ralph Dibny, the Elongated Man. Yes, that’s a mouthful of a hero name, but still an amazing character. Tonight, Ralph Dibny enters the TV world of THE FLASH in an episode directed by Tom Cavanagh. So, how long can I “stretch” this intro (pun intended)? Let’s get to the review, right after the jump!

Review: Flashpoint: Legion of Doom #3

I have a suspicion that anyone reading this review is probably doing so for the trainwreck factor; I’ve certainly done that when the reviewer covers an infamous comic or one I disliked. Well, perhaps I’ve become jaded over the past few months, but the violence in Legion of Doom #3 wasn’t enough to make the story exciting. Continue beyond the cut for further spoilers.

Well, Flashpoint: Legion of Doom #2 was certainly something. If you like prison break stories, you’ll probably enjoy it, because it doesn’t disappoint in that respect. However if you dislike blood and violence in your comics, you won’t be thrilled with this one at all. More after the cut.

DC has released a 4-page preview of next week’s Flashpoint: Legion of Doom #2, along with more detailed teaser text:

When Cyborg locked Mick Rory away in the Hall of Doom for murdering Firestorm, little did he know the risk that comes from being the target of Heatwave’s vengeance. With help from Eel, a.k.a Plastic Man, Heatwave generates an escape plan. But in order to be successful and gain back the weapons that fuel him, he must get past Atomic Skull and the Meta Gang, Animal Man, and Atom to name a few. And when his monstrous plan for revenge is ultimately revealed, Cyborg will have to worry about saving much more than just himself.

So, I attempted to get started on this review almost a week ago. But to be honest, I was at a loss for words, unsure what to say about the issue.
