Okay, I’m in for this one. The “Color of Fear” story arc ramps up considerably in the second installment, with some huge implications for the Flash family (and some nods to the past as well). There are some upside-down and backward things happening in this issue. We start with a look in the 25th Century at the Flash Museum, where they celebrate The Flash’s best friend and ally…and it’s not who you think. This season of THE FLASH has had a lot of twists and turns – let’s just do a quick review. We began with FLASHPOINT, then moved to Doctor Alchemy, Savitar, Kid Flash, Killer Frost, Gypsy, HR Wells from Earth 19…and moved all the way up to last episode’s tragic ending. How could they possibly resolve all of this, much less top the drama of last week’s cliffhanger? And, what clues will we get to Season 4? This episode gives us the return of two villains once thought dead…but then, as Future Barry pointed out, the more you go back in time the less the rules apply. SO…..this is actually good news if you are a fan (like me) of these certain bad guys. Only 24 hours left to save Iris, so what can present-day Barry do?
